PROGRAM RESULTS:
Here's what our students say about the consultation group
Diane, Licensed Therapist
I looked forward to this consultation group every single month. I shared my cases, got helpful feedback and learned from people treating religious trauma all over the country. This has been the most valuable continuing education space I've invested in.
Aron, Licensed Social Worker
I learned so much during the consultation group and I'll definitely be signing up for future rounds. I felt supported and got the best feedback for what I can actually do to help my clients. I had to take furious notes because the feedback was so helpful.
You might say "I don't know if this is for me. I don't have religious trauma clients yet"
Other therapists felt the same, but discovered that they needed training first before they felt like they could grow their practice.
Stephanie, Licensed Therapist
I've found that I needed to feel competent in treating religious trauma before I felt like I could advertise that as my specialty. I've gotten referrals from Dr. Quincee and feel like my training has been exceptional. It has totally changed my confidence in sitting with my clients.
Erik, Therapist in Training
I have not received enough trauma-specific training in my program. I was so relieved to see this training included a specialization in religious trauma & cult abuse and also focused on the practical ways to treat posttraumatic symptoms. I cannot recommend this enough. I'm already creating a specialty while working on my license.
Kiera, Licensed Therapist
I cannot recommend this certification program enough. It walked me through everything that I've always wondered about religious trauma, but never really knew how to articulate it. I've used the lessons on indoctrination over and over again with my clients. This is course work that you won't regret doing.
You might be asking "Why do I need a consultation group on top of the program?"
Our students discovered learning from experts and getting personalized feedback was a game-changer in their practices.
Alison, Coach
I've taken a lot of courses in my life, but this certification course with the consultation group changed the way that I saw my coaching clients. I felt like I found community among other professionals and learned so much more when I could just unmute my microphone and ask a question immediately. I give this 5 stars! Everyone should do this training!
Lauren, Psychologist
I was unsure how this course was going to different from the rest of my trauma training, but boy was I wrong. I learned so many important lessons about coercive control, emotional manipulation, thought reform, and so much more. If you feel like you've already learned a lot in other trauma trainings, this one will take it to the next level with very specific theory, research and lessons on cult and religious trauma recovery.
You might be wondering "What is the most helpful part of this program?"
Each student has taken different lessons away, and here are some of the highlights.
Erin, Licensed Therapist
I'm happy to see an emphasis for nervous system regulation and I asked so many clarifying questions in the consultation group. I looked forward to the group each month because of how personable and supportive the experts and Dr. Quincee were. This is exactly what I needed to continue feeling competent and resourceful in my religious trauma and cult work with clients.
Denise, Licensed Therapist
I have learned so much about assessing each of my clients for the severity and impact of their religious trauma or cult group experience. I have personally reached out to Dr. Quincee for extra resources or consultation on difficult cases that feel confusing and overwhelming. I have loved being a part of this program and continue to show up to the monthly consultation group with excitement.

"I cannot describe the relief I've felt in the knowledge of how to support my religious trauma clients in powerful ways."
Megan, licensed clinician in A Year of Non-Magical Thinking for Therapists

Meet your teacher
Hi, I'm Dr. Quincee
I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in religious trauma and cult abuse recovery. I've helped my clients understand their experiences and leave their culty groups with dignity and self-understanding. I've taught over 200 clinicians, therapists and coaches how to support religious trauma clients and I can't wait to support you in doing the same!
But before I specialized in helping others get out of these toxic environments and communities, I was surviving my own religious trauma.
I grew up in a really toxic religious group...
I lived through fear-mongering and unending messages about hell.
I was guilt-tripped for having normal human experiences.
I was terrified to lose every relationship that was important to me.
I felt like something was wrong with me for having questions.
I was isolated from the outside world.
When I broke free of the guilt, shame, and fear, I needed support from people who knew what it was like to be a part of a group like this.
That's why this program means so much to me.
You are needed.
I cannot tell you the number of clients that have tried to find a religious trauma specialist for YEARS. We need more specialists out there helping survivors get their lives back. Here's why you're needed.
33%
Did you know 33% of U.S. adults have experienced religious trauma at some point in their lives?
3 Million
Some experts estimate that at least 3 million people living right now have been a part of a cult.
Here's what our students say about the tools they learned

Ellen saw this happen after joining YONMT for Therapists:
"I finally have all of the clients tools I've been longing for this whole time. I use these tools at least once a week in my clinical practice."

Lauren said this after joining YONMT for Therapists:
"I feel like I can reach out to Dr. Quincee at any time and just ask questions. I've never been in a course with a more accessible teacher."
Our therapists/students are getting a well-rounded experience
Marissa said this after joining YONMT for Therapists:
"My ability to hold my clients' experiences has grown so much since gaining the knowledge I so desperately needed about religious trauma recovery. I'm so glad I did this training because it's changed how I show up as a clinician."
Henry learned this during their time in YONMT for Therapists:
"I learned so much about nervous system responses, regulation, and really great trauma care. I think I would have benefitted from this training even if I didn't want to treat religious trauma specifically."
